Kenan originally trained as an actor before turning his attention to the art of stage combat, as both tutor and fight director, over the last fifteen years. He is a dedicated martial artist with more than thirty years experience across many styles and disciplines. Kenan is also a qualified fencing coach through the British Academy of Fencing and is now an Equity Registered Fight Director, one of a very small number of such professionals in the U.K.
