Christine Mackie has been cast as Fay in Iron, at HOME Manchester.

Written by Rona Munro, one of Scotland's most celebrated playwrights, Iron is a gripping two-hander that follows Josie as she visits her incarcerated mother for the first time in fifteen years, unearthing shared memories along the way. The production runs 15–19 September 2026.

Christine plays opposite her real-life daughter Lois Mackie, who plays Josie.
