Hayden Mampasi stars in Romeo & Juliet at The Globe

This spring, the Bankside stage hosts a visceral revival of the critically acclaimed production of Romeo & Juliet. Created as part of the Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank project, this fast-paced, 90-minute staging brings the urgency and heartbreak of Verona to life for a new generation.

The production is scheduled to run at Shakespeare’s Globe from 5 March until 12 April 2026, offering a contemporary and high-energy take on the classic tragedy.
