Jen Caldwell joins Billy Elliot the Musical's West End and UK Tour as Swing and Assistant Resident Director
Jen Caldwell has been cast as Swing, with covers for Dead Mum and Mrs Wilkinson, and as Assistant Resident Director on Billy Elliot the Musical, returning with a UK and Ireland tour and a West End run.
The tour opens at Sunderland Empire on 4 November 2026, before moving to the Palace Theatre Manchester and Edinburgh Playhouse, then into the West End at the Adelphi Theatre from 12 February to 31 July 2027. The production, from producers Working Title, brings back Lee Hall's original book and lyrics, Elton John's score, direction from Stephen Daldry and choreography by Peter Darling.
