Matthew Churcher joins the UK revival of Tristan & Yseult as Frocin
Matthew Churcher has been cast as Frocin in Tristan & Yseult, produced by Emma Rice Company in co-production with York Theatre Royal and Nottingham Playhouse.
First created by Emma Rice for Kneehigh in 2003, this visceral, playful and internationally celebrated production returns to the stage for the first time in ten years. The tour opens at Theatre Royal Bath from 11 to 19 September 2026, before travelling to Theatr Clwyd, Citizens Theatre Glasgow, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, the Royal Lyceum Edinburgh, St Ann's Warehouse New York, Oxford Playhouse, Nottingham Playhouse and York Theatre Royal.
