Eleanor McLoughlin takes on the role of Ed in Sharon Horgan's HBO series YOUTH
Eleanor McLoughlin has been cast as ED in YOUTH, the new comedy series for HBO from Sharon Horgan's production company Merman.
Created by, written by and starring Sharon Horgan, YOUTH follows Alex, a London book agent facing up to sex, love and middle age. The eight-part series premiered on 20 September 2026 and runs weekly through to 1 November, with all episodes directed by Dawn Shadforth.
